Return & Refund Policy

The return policy is divided into three parts. Do read all sections carefully to understand the conditions and cases under which returns will be accepted.

You can return a product if it is not a part of the non-returnable list and if you have received:

  1. An incorrect product (if the product is unused, in original unbroken packaging and includes all tags).
  2. A damaged/defective product (For electronics, open products will be accepted if different from description or picture displayed).
  3. If you have changed your mind or placed a wrong order, we will only accept a return under certain conditions:

I). the items are in its original retail packaging (Sealed/Closed Box) and is not damaged or tampered in any condition.

ii). the seal of the item needs to be in an intact condition.

iii). For Clothing & other Fashion products, the product needs to be in original packaging and have all the original tags.

PART 2 – Returns Product Pick-Up and Processing

If any address changes for pickup product, buykart will verify the service available in a particular location. During product pick-up, your item will be checked for the Conditions.  The field executive will refuse to accept the return if any of the above conditions are not met. Any products for which a refund is to be given, the refund will be processed once the returned product has been received by the seller.

REFUND PROCESS:

CANCELED PRODUCTS:

If the product is cancelled by buykart, the amount will be refunded back to credit card/debit card. If a customer cancels the order and the products are already shipped but not delivered, a full refund will be sent as a store credit to customers within 24 hours. Upon request, the transfer of store points back to the credit/debit card can be made by buykart. The amount may take up to 10-45 business days to reflect in card statement, depending upon the issuing bank.

DELIVERED PRODUCTS:

  • If the return Conditions are met after the inspection by our team, the product amount (excluding the amount paid for the original shipping fees) will be refunded as store credits within 24 hours. Upon request, the transfer of store points back to the credit/debit card can be made by buykart. The amount may take up to 10-45 business days to reflect in card statement, depending upon the issuing bank.
  • For electronic products, Complaint should be raised within 24 hours.
  • If a product is returned without any reasons, the customers will be charged a nominal delivery fee.

If you are approved for returns, your refund will be processed. Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.

PART 3 – General Rules for a successful Return

For Furniture, any product related issues will be checked by authorized service personnel (free of cost) and attempted to be resolved by replacing the faulty/ defective part of the product. Full replacement will be provided only in cases where the service personnel opines that replacing the faulty/defective part will not resolve the issue.                                                   

In certain cases where the seller is unable to process a replacement for any reason whatsoever, a refund will be given.         

For products where the installation is provided by buykart’s service partners, do not open the product packaging by yourself. buykart authorized personnel shall help in unboxing and installation of the product.                                                             

During open box deliveries, while accepting your order, if you received a different or a damaged product, you will be given a refund (on the spot refunds for cash-on-delivery orders). Once you have accepted an open box delivery, no return request will be processed, except for manufacturing defects. In such cases, the category-specific replacement/return general conditions will be applicable.
